Khan stops Molina but question marks remain

Khan overpowers Molina to stop two fight losing streak.

AMIR KHAN bounced back to winning ways with a one sided beat down of Carlos Molina.

Brave Molina was totally outclassed at the Sports Arena in Los Angles, by a new and improved Amir Khan, with new trainer Virgil Hunter constantly barking out the orders to his new charge.

The most eagerly awaited boxing comeback ended in tears for Ricky Hatton at his old MEN stomping ground (now renamed the Manchester Arena). And it was sad to see. Very sad.

The comeback was for the right reasons: renewed vigour and enthusiasm along with a burning desire to show the world 'the real Ricky Hatton' was the catalyst to get back in the ring. It wasn’t for the money.

Walsh-Clark a draw but the Shark should have left Norfolk with another 'W' on his ledger


Cromer’s Ryan Walsh was left bloodied and bruised at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday as Ronnie 'The Shark' Clark sunk his Dundonian teeth into Liam’s twin brother.

Clark, the former world, British and European kickboxing champion, impressed referee Mark Green enough to claim a 95-95 draw after ten rounds, with the British Masters super-featherweight title remaining vacant.

Norwich welcomes back boxing...and Walsh clings on to unbeaten record

Two-thirds of the Walsh brothers, Michael and Ryan, enjoyed emphatic first round stoppages as professional boxing made a welcome return to Norwich at the Norfolk Showground.

Titled ‘The Homecoming at the Showground’ this small hall show, promoted by Shamrock Boxing, was the first boxing event to be staged in Norfolk since Anthony Mezaache claimed Jon Thaxton’s EBU lightweight title over three years ago.

Fight Report: Purdy shines at the Palace; Camacho, Yafai and Taylor notch up stoppage wins

Colchester’s Lee Purdy (10st 6lbs) picked up the IBF International welterweight title after dismantling Gumersindo Carrasco (10st 6lbs) in a four round shoot out.

The Argentinean banger entered the ring with an unbeaten 16 fight record with 13 stoppages, but will leave London without any fond memories.
